Keep an eye and ear open
Just to make sure they are not struggling alone
Offer a hand
Offer your time
Let them know you are available
A part of the team
Ivory towers are no good for anyone
It’s not the best way to lead
Of course give others a chance to work it out for themselves
But don’t let them drown
Or be engulfed by the constant demands coming their way
They will be thankful for your presence
Even if they don’t actual need you
So keep close
A leader is never far away from their people
